Racing to the Finale?

So we thought this was where the blog would finally be all caught up to the "now." And it pretty much is.

So where do we stand?

Things are still complicated. We still try to protect Dad while also allowing his decisions to be his decisions. She's still lying. We have proof of that too. He doesn't care and doesn't want to hear it. So we spend a lot of time just sitting back and watching.

He says to me and Justin all the time, "Y'all act like y'all have never messed up," or "She messed up one time, and you won't let it go." Or my favorite: "That's not very Christian of you," and "I thought Christians were supposed to forgive."

So it's been a day-to-day struggle, just carrying on... until yesterday.

We got some news that left us reeling and wondering if maybe... just maybe... justice is finally on the way.

Then again, we've been wrong about that before.

I'm going to have to leave you on a cliffhanger because there's still so much we don't know and are working to figure out. And no one really knows that we know...
