One evening, Dad was out of the house watching my niece play volleyball out of town with my sister and my brother-in-law and nephew went out to go feed their horses out at Dad's land. When they got there, the back door was wide open. Now at first, they thought this could have just been the wind or it not getting shut good, because it was an old house, but upon further inspection, the lock had been jimmied with a screw driver or something. You could see the scrapes and shavings from whatever was used. They called dad and told him what they had found, he was already on his way home.

Johnathon and Hagen went in to search the house to see what was done, nothing was taken that they could see. His TV, surround sound, laptop, they were all still there. Nothing was vandalized, nothing was out of place. All that was noticeable was his closet door was left open, like someone was looking for something and his medications that he kept on the kitchen counter had been moved about a foot down the counter from where he normally kept it. Dad had surgery on his back and neck several years before and was prescribed some high powered pain killers, he didn't take them very often and had a large supply. A drug addicts dream come true. All the prescriptions were still there, but none were taken. We asked him to discuss with his doctors what happened and see if they would re-fill his prescriptions. We naturally blamed her for this, because who else would do that? No one would break into a house and not do anything, it doesn't make sense. She denies doing it, but again, why would anyone go to the trouble of prying a back door open and break into a house and not do anything. This made us concerned that she had done something to his medications, but we have no proof. Crystal begged him to just go ahead and replace the medications but he wouldn't hear of it.

Even from about the third week of everything being revealed she would call Dad and say "I don't have any groceries, or I don't have any gas money". And you guessed it my Dad would give her some cash because he felt bad for her. And on it and it turned into "I don't have any money to do my laundry", so again, Dad to let her come over and do her laundry. It started out as a once a week thing and only on Sundays. And while she was there she would cook him breakfast. This quickly turned into, well we just like to hang out and do stuff. We go out to eat and it is just someone to talk to. She would also come over and fix him dinner. Her way of "making up to him" for what she had done. She couldn't afford to do laundry but would bring over groceries to make breakfast. Crystal and I voiced our opinions multiple times and in more ways than one. We just don't understand how you can let someone who ruined your life just be friends?? He swore up and down that she was not moving back in and he would always be careful with his banking information.

As time went on and the manipulation continued, dad starting getting another rash, just like the previous one. Doctors could not determine what it was, his regular doctor, dermatologist and a lot of tests and no answers but more medication, more creams to try and get the rash to go away. Well it made sense to me and Crystal, she was back in his life and making his food and giving him his medicine, one of which was in shot form. Dad wasn't connecting the dots, just believed whatever the doctor told him and there was no telling him that it was possibly her poisoning him again! We really couldn't understand, why? Why did she do all this, why was Dad being played like this, he is a smart person, was she really that convincing? As we kept going through all of the paper work and revealing more to dad, he would put his foot down again and she wasn't allowed to come over EXCEPT for laundry, just one more time. Good we think we have finally convinced him.

Wrong!
